Dubbed Ethnotronic World Beat, the sounds of VOLXTANZ blend and juxtapose diverse elements from such traditions as Balkan brass music, Jazz, and Afrobeat to present an exciting and unique concert experience. Whether in an accoustic street band set-up or with a full compliment of electronic beats, VOLXTANZ delivers a dynamic and florid canvas of sound that is guaranteed to get that mind thinkin' and that bacon shakin'. The band, based in Stuttgart, Germany, currently consists of members from Germany, Italy, and the United States, and has been playing concerts all over Germany and Europe since 2007. May 2012 saw VOLXTANZ release their third studio album, the un-plugged „Volxstreet“, and in in October, the electronically seasoned „Days EP“.

Als Ethnotronic World Beat bezeichnen VOLXTANZ ihren Sound in welchem
musikalische Elemente, Rhythmen und Samples aus aller Welt auf eine vom
Balkanbrass, Jazz, Afrobeat und vielem mehr beeinflusste Hornsection treffen.
Ob in akkustischer Streetband Besetzung oder in vollelektronischer Clubmontur
zielen die teils schnörkelos direkt, teils vertrackt arrangierten Songs auf alle
Regionen des Volxkörpers. Dabei schaffen sie mit gro§er Spielfreude den
Spagat zwischen Partyband und Klangexperiment.
Das in Stuttgart ansässige Musikerkollektiv, dessen Mitglieder aus
Schwaben, USA, Bayern und Italien stammen, feilt bereits seit 2007 an seiner
ganz eigenen Version von Weltmusik und hat bereits 3 Studioalben auf dem
hauseigenen Label commode-records veršffentlicht.
Diesen Herbst erscheint die „Days“-EP mit fünf brandneuen VOLXTANZ Tracks.
Selten war Blasmusik so tanzbar, Cubbeat und Trommeln vereinen sich zu
schweißtreibenden grooves die das tanzende Volk noch am Tag danach in den
